SYNOPSIS
"Other Side" is an immersive live performance in XR, fusing immersive storytelling with interactions in VR. Influenced by real incidents, it speaks to the world from the perspective of three characters in a sarcastic yet touching voice, dealing with "Animal Cruelty." This funny yet evoking show combines humour with real elements in a show that will evoke awareness and empathy.

To enhance the emotional impact and engagement of the narrative, puppetry (Puppet Masks) was incorporated in the performance. There are three characters in the story a cow, a pig and egg, the face mask is intentionally worn on the back of the head, rather than on the face, to align with the title "Other Side." This artistic choice highlights the unsaid story of the other side (animal's perspective). It also serves a functional purpose by allowing the audience to observe the performing artist's facial expressions throughout the performance.

The vision behind creating this project is to bring immersive theatre play to life to enhance the audience engagement. The project aims to explore the intersection of XR and live performance to create innovative storytelling experiences.
